Products and Ordering

Where are Lumi-Ducks products made?

Lumi-Ducks products are designed and assembled in Georgia, USA, using carefully selected components sourced from the United States and other locations worldwide. Every kit is assembled with attention to fit, function, and ease of installation.

Where do orders ship from?

Orders ship from Georgia, USA. Tracking information is sent when your shipping label is created. Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and may vary.

How do I know which kit fits my vehicle?

Check the vehicle and fitment information in the product description before ordering. Some products are made for specific Jeep models, body styles, or mounting locations. For example, the JL/JT Top-Windshield kit fits compatible Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models and works best with smaller ducks around 2 inches tall because space is limited.

If you are unsure, contact us before ordering or installing. Include your Jeep year, model, number of doors, and the mounting location you want to use.

Can I add more light bars later?

Yes. Lumi-Ducks systems were designed with expansion in mind. Add-On Light Bars connect to a compatible existing kit and use the same controller. An Add-On does not include its own controller and will not operate by itself.

After connecting an Add-On, update the LED settings in the Zengge app so the controller recognizes the additional lights.

App and Controller

Is the Zengge app free?

Yes. The Zengge app is free to download, and no Lumi-Ducks subscription is required. Scan the QR code on your controller packaging or download Zengge from your device's app store.

How do I use the app?

Turn on the Lumi-Ducks controller, enable Bluetooth on your phone, and open the Zengge app. Select the controller when it appears in the device list. The app lets you choose colors and effects, adjust brightness and speed, use music-reactive modes, and configure the number of LEDs and segments.

What LED and segment settings should I use?

Use the following standard settings in the Zengge app:

Lumi-Ducks kit LED count Segments
Full-Dash 18 LEDs 1 segment
Gladiator Rear-Window 18 LEDs 1 segment
JL/JT Top-Windshield 18 LEDs 1 segment
Four-Door Side-Window 9 LEDs 2 segments
Two-Door Side-Window 15 LEDs 2 segments

Watch the LED-settings walkthrough.

Do I have to use the app?

No. Kits supplied with a handheld remote can be used immediately with the remote. The app is recommended when you want additional effects, custom colors, brightness controls, or need to change the LED and segment settings.

What if I do not have enough ducks to cover every LED?

You can still use the light bar. The Zengge app can be used to reduce the active LED count so unused LEDs remain off. Because the correct setting depends on the kit and number of connected bars, contact us if you would like help matching the settings to your display.

Installation

How are the ducks attached?

Ducks attach using the included clear, double-sided adhesive pads. Individual pads allow you to remove or replace one duck without disturbing the rest of the display. They also avoid leaving a long exposed strip of adhesive that can collect dust and debris.

For the strongest hold, clean and dry the bottom of each duck and the mounting area before applying the pads. Do not install adhesive until you have test-fitted the complete display.

Do I have to assemble the lights?

Only basic setup is required. Connect the controller to the first light bar, connect additional compatible bars as directed, and plug the controller into the appropriate power source. Depending on the kit, the included metal support and foam risers help keep the bars straight, level, and positioned correctly.

Test all lights and confirm fitment before attaching ducks or permanently placing adhesive.

Will the bars block the windshield defroster?

The dash bars can be positioned slightly back from the windshield, and the included foam pads can help adjust their height. Correct placement should allow air from the defroster vents to continue flowing. Test the position before applying adhesive and make sure the display does not interfere with visibility, airbags, vehicle controls, or required equipment.

Troubleshooting

What should I do if one light bar is not working?

  1. Turn the system off and check that every connector is fully seated and aligned correctly.
  2. Inspect the wire and connector between the working and non-working bars for damage or a loose connection.
  3. Turn the system back on and open the Zengge app.
  4. Long-press the controller in the device list and open Device Information or the LED settings.
  5. For a standard Full-Dash Kit, confirm that the controller is set to 18 LEDs and 1 segment.

If the problem continues, contact us with your order information, the product name, and a short video showing the controller and both bars. Please do not cut, splice, or modify the wiring before contacting us.

Why did my Add-On bar not turn on after I connected it?

The controller may still be programmed for the original number of bars. Open the Zengge app and update the LED or segment settings to include the Add-On. If you are unsure which values your setup needs, send us a message with the number and type of bars connected.

Returns, Exchanges, and Support

Can I return or exchange my order?

Eligible new and unused products may be returned within the return period stated in our refund policy. Items must be complete, unmodified, and in their original packaging. Products that have been installed or had installation attempted generally cannot be returned unless there is verified shipping damage or a manufacturing defect.

Lumi-Ducks may provide the initial return label, with the variable return-shipping cost deducted from the refund unless the return resulted from our error or a confirmed defect. Refund processing follows the timing and conditions in the current policy.

Please read the complete Refund Policy before beginning a return. Contact us before applying adhesive if you are uncertain about fitment.

What if my order arrives damaged or appears defective?

Contact us promptly through the Contact page. Include your order number and clear photos of the product, packaging, shipping label, and affected area. If a light is involved, a short video showing the issue is also helpful. We will review the information and determine the appropriate next step.
